Skin disorders: Blackheads and Age Spots
Blackheads
Food: an abrasive facial scrub can be made of finely ground oatmeal and sea salt mixed with kefir or acidophilus yoghurt and stiffly beaten egg white. Make up a firm paste and massage into troubled areas. Rinse well with cool water and apply diluted lemon juice, apple cider vinegar or kombucha. Radish pulp can be applied to the affected areas, leave until dry before washing off. Save the asparagus water from cooked asparagus and use the water to cleanse the face morning and night.
Ageing
Food: massaging the skin with radish juice eliminates wrinkles. Urine: slow down the ageing process by drinking a glass of fresh urine in the morning as a tonic. Massage fresh urine into the skin 20 minutes before daily shower.
Age Spots
Papaya: latex or the fleshy side of the skin from a green papaya can be placed onto the age spots.
Urine: apply to spots for 20 minutes twice daily.
Oils: rub odourless castor oil or apply vitamin E nightly.
Foods: rub with cucumber or lemon skins to lighten age spots. Fresh apricots, cranberries, green grapes, strawberries and milk all have a bleaching effect.
Herbs: apply- fresh aloe vera gel, dry comfrey root tea, fresh juice from dandelion leaves, horseradish grated into buttermilk, kefir, kombucha or vinegar. Fresh parsley juice and elder flower are also effective.
Kombucha: apply kombucha tea or cream to the spots twice a day.
